Smoking Policy
- The Showboat Hotel enforces a strict No Smoking Policy. Violating this policy will result in a $200 charge to the credit card on file.
Pet Policy
- For insurance purposes, guests must inform us of any animals staying in the rooms. A $50 pet fee applies to any room with animals.
- Animals must be crated when left unattended in rooms
- We welcome well- behaved pets at our hotel. However, in consideration of all of our guests, excessive or consistent barking will not be tolerated. if pet is causing ongoing disturbances, management reserves the right to request that the guest vacate the premises without a refund!
Check-Out Information
- Guests must check out by the specified time. Late check-out will incur a $75 fee. If you need a late check-out, please notify us in advance; a $40 fee will apply.

Room Service & Housekeeping
- Rooms will not be serviced during your stay. We ask that you hang wet towels over the shower curtain rod, towel rods, or door knobs. Please help us conserve water and energy.
- If beverages are provided in mini fridges ($3 - Water; $7 - Starbucks Coffee) will be charged to the card on file after your stay if they are removed by you.
Payment Information
- We accept all major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Parking
- Free parking is available on-site, but may be limited during large events. Please park within designated areas or follow instructions from staff.
Accessibility
- Many guest rooms are located on the second and third floors. There is no elevator, and we do not have a bellhop. Please pack accordingly.
Lost & Found
- Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of $50 and may take up to 30 days to receive. Please thoroughly check your room for valuable items before departure.
Damages & Missing Items
- We reserve the right to charge for any damage to or removal of items from the premises, as well as for unusual cleaning. Damaged or missing items from rooms post check-out will be charged to your security deposit on file. This includes, but is not limited to, remote controls, linens, pillows, mugs, room keys, books, etc. If any toiletries (such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap containers) are missing, a minimum fee of $50 will be charged upon check-out.
Guest Name Changes
- For Individual Reservations: You will not be able to change the name of the guest for check-in 30 days prior to arrival.
- For Large Groups: Name changes are not allowed at all.
